Body found on psychic's lawn, cops investigate
MILTON - Police here responded to a bizarre discovery Monday: a body found on a psychic palm reader's front lawn.
At about 6:45 a.m., a court officer, in charge of transferring inmates from Maplehurst Detention Centre to the Milton Court House, was driving on Bronte street when she noticed a man lying on the grass. She stopped and quickly determined he was dead.
The deceased is described as white, in his late 30s or early 40s. Halton police are treating it as an unexplained death. Neighbours said it is possible the death may have been drug-related, because of drug dealing in the area.
CHCH News spoke with the psychic who lives at the house, who said she had been in Toronto since Saturday.
