Six years after her first encounter with Bioenergy healing, Tania Ahsan meets founder Michael Cohen again to find out how his technique has developed.

There is a sharp and prickly feeling in my back as I lay down on the Shakti Mat, the modern version of the Bed of Nails. I breathe deeply and an intense heat is spreading through my back and neck. There is a tingling and pulsating sensation all over my back and a feeling of energy flowing up and down my spine. I feel very deeply relaxed. I move into a meditative and blissful state and all the tension in my back and neck melts away.

Nat Bondar was born in Ukraine while it was part of the Soviet empire, she developed acute, natural clairvoyance at the age of nine years old and "fine tuned" it throughout her adolescence. After the Chernobyl disaster, she used her vision to see whether food was safe to eat or not as many fruit and vegetables would have a "black cloud" of radiation around them. She would also see the energetic residues of herbicides and pesticide chemicals on food and learnt to discriminate what she and her family should eat or drink.

For many women the diagnosis of fibroids leads them to believe that they have a battle on their hands like fighting cancer. Especially if they have been given the diagnosis as the reason for not being able to conceive. Nothing could be further from the truth.

Eyestrain is a problem a lot of us live with. We love spending hours in front of our computer screens and often don't even realise how many hours pass by as we are glued to our screens. Worsening eyesight, even at an early age, is an accepted fait accompli. Add to that social conditioning that has instilled in us the belief that after a certain age our eyes can only get worse, even though there is evidence that this need not be the case, our eyes are having a tough job keeping up.
